Iconic Avila Hills around Caracas are not only green and attractive. Avila Park also serves as a green lung to the city and is home to some amazing fauna and flora. There are also picturesque villages tucked in small valleys between green hills. Definitely a place to spend some quality free time! I enjoyed the trip even more, as Leo, my new colleague was a very attentive and helpful guide and hiking companion.
