Dubrovnik, Croatia, November 2023

My 2023 pre-Christmas trip took me to the Balkans. Visiting beautiful (and yes, iconic) Dubrovnik and its surroundings. Enjoying sites, friendly people and amazing food. This trip is also special as a visit to Croatia completes my task of visiting all member states of the European Union! A day in Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) Kravice Waterfall, Mostar and its vicinity makes the visit to the Balkans even more enriching. The little bit of BiH that I saw makes me want to get back here again! And at last but not least, a visit to Montenegro's Adriatic coast. Kotor and villages around are definitely a place to go. Montenegro is really pretty and worth visiting. Coming and discovering the Balkans was a very good decision indeed!
